Consulting

If you love giving others advice and always want to help other people, then maybe give Management Consulting a try! Consulting has been a booming industry lately and more and more business need help in making tough decisions or maintaining their current business operations. The participant will be representing a consulting firm and the judge will most likely be the “client” they’re working on. MCO will be judged by industry professionals that are familiar with the overall consulting scope and specialize in management consulting. This category can be intimidating for most students and we don’t usually have consulting classes at school, but this category will allow you to dip your toe in the water and see if a career in consulting is right for you!

MCO is particularly interesting because it gives you hands-on consulting practice, unlike anything you would ever get in a classroom. No matter what program you’re in, I recommend MCO because it involves making real-world business decisions by putting together your knowledge, skills, and experiences from various areas of life. Your diversity of experience and education is an asset!
